Work stuff

Formally trained as an architect, Adib operates beyond the traditional boundaries of architecture including media, technology, cultural studies, graphic design, curating and publishing to create new experiences, understanding and possibilities of our built environment.

He is currently a lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic’s Design School, Festival Director of Archifest 2012, Singapore’s annual architecture festival, and co-founder of FIVEFOOTWAY, a research studio and magazine focusing on Asian cities. He is also actively involved with the local creative community, lending his time to various workshops, competitions and projects.

In 2008, Adib was invited to represent Singapore at the prestigious Venice Architectural Biennale amongst 21 other Singaporean designers.

Other random stuff

Adib lives in the East coast of Singapore with a cat named Jac. He is a nerd and a hippie at heart and loves his girlfriend, words and football, in that order. Adib also has dreams of one day becoming a roaming poet, a humanitarian worker and a bookshop owner. This blog is a collection of his thoughts and things he finds interesting.
